In the footsteps of the Father Founder of Sons and Daughters of Mary Mother of Mercy, Most Rev. Dr. Anthony Gogo Nwedo, CSSp; with Episcopal Motto:”Evangelizare Pauperibus Misit me” , the Sons and Daughters witness to the Mercy of God among the poor and needy by visiting over 110 people displaced from their homes due to land dispute in Cross River State. These refugees are sheltered by the people of Amangwu Ohafia in Bende L. G. Area of Abia State, in the Catholic Diocese of Umuahia. This joint Apostolate of Charity was carried out on 11th February, 2021 in memory of the 21st Anniversary of their death of their Father. Bishop Nwedo on 12th February, 2021. The SONS and DAUGHTERS offered them different food items. This visit was led by the Superiors General of SMMM and DMMM alongside with other Sons and Daughters. To God be the Glory!
